The Clown's Philosophy

a desperate want of being
is an illusion

a soulless purpose to recognizing oneself
is an delusion

a darkness that has no light
is truth

a fantasy that is real
is a lie

who claims these clouds?
these dripping, unshielded rain drops,
leaving nothing but acceptance

making man compelled to fight
driven to win and to
weed out the conscious drones

freedom has been stripped

trapped in fear’s impolite silence
spineless in world’s trust, thinking,
‘maybe tomorrow will be better’

Just For Today

the day's mysteries have been seen before
our chosen rights pushing through open doors

what shall we learn today?
a lesson we were told to pray?

a seemingly distant fog
     procuring ancient frogs,
          taking our protection from dogs

light becomes the waver of life
begging our stringy strife

bridges to this divine plan
will always lasts a life span…

a message for you, I write
     to enhance your rights
          diminish your frights

free the will to change,
but keep your destinies strange

set the story, spit in the book
don't take another look
